Ball State University
Miller College of Business
Situated on a vast 1,140-acre campus in the suburban setting of Muncie about an hour to the northeast of the state capital in Indianapolis, Ball State University is a public comprehensive institution with more than 17,000 students. Classified by the prestigious Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as a research institution with high research activity, Ball State is currently ranked as the 181st best college and 101st top public school in the nation by the U.S. News and World Report. Master of Science in Accounting (MSA)
Building upon the foundation that admitted students received with an undergraduate business degree, the Master of Science in Accounting program is designed as an effective method for students to meet the educational requirements necessary to earn eligibility for certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Students in the master’s program must complete at least 18 hours of major accounting courses and 12 hours of approved electives outside the accounting department with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for completion. Within the 30-credit program, students are actively engaged in coursework on tax planning, accounting research, attestation principles, financial accounting, information systems, and managerial accounting.

Indiana University – Bloomington
Kelley School of Business

Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
With the goal of preparing graduates for competitive positions in auditing, risk management, corporate accounting, management consulting, banking, financial services, governmental or non-profit organizations, and taxation practices, the specialized MBA in Accounting involves two years of full-time academics, leadership development, and career practice. Throughout, students gain substantial experience through field consulting helping local businesses and organizations with real-world accounting problems. At the conclusion of the program, students can benefit from a six-week Fast Pass CPA review course offered by Becker.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Accounting Major or Minor
Designed to help students reach their career goals through the right academic focus in a proven two-year curriculum that enables students to tailor their education with leadership global opportunities embedded, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program can be focused with a major or minor in accounting. After understanding the basics of business, students can specialize their studies to design their own academic schedule of electives in accounting within the second semester of the first year. In the program, students gain expertise in economics, finances, financial accounting, marketing, operations strategies, strategic management, taxation, and quantitative analysis for business decisions.

University of Notre Dame
Mendoza School of Business
Located in South Bend just 100 miles outside of Chicago, the University of Notre Dame is an elite private Roman Catholic coeducational institution. Known for having a graduation rate among the top five in the nation, Notre Dame is currently ranked as the 18th best college and 23rd best value school in the United States by the U.S. News and World Report. Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA)
Designed on a broad-based curriculum while allowing students to choose from two concentration tracks in Financial Reporting and Assurance Services or Tax Services, the Master of Science in Accountancy program is currently ranked nationally as the 6th best accountancy program by the Public Accounting Report. As an academically rigorous flexible program responsive to the demands of the marketplace to ensure students gain expertise on developing and implementing solutions to solve tough business problems, the MBA in Accountancy program can be completed in one year for students with an undergraduate business degree and two years with an undergraduate degree in another field.
